this is a blog post
Hi! I’m Stephanie Huston, a certified teacher with over twenty years of experience, and a passionate homeschool mom to three children. After teaching in New Jersey’s public schools, I transitioned to homeschooling, where I create hands-on learning experiences for my kids.
Along with homeschooling, my family maintains a half-acre farmette in the heart of suburbia. We grow a variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs, and even raise chickens. When the weather is nice, you’ll find me in the garden or camping with my family. In winter, I love spending time in the kitchen, cooking and baking with my children.
Through Happily Homegrown, I share our journey of homeschooling, gardening, and homemaking, with the hope of inspiring families to live intentionally and grow together.
